Women's Soccer Player Kucharz Named GSAC Player of the Week
Sophomore Laura Kucharz (Singen, Germany/Freidrich Wohler Gymnasium) was named the GSAC (Garden State Athletic Conference) Player of the Week for the week ending September 29th.
Kucharz has helped lead °®½´ÊÓƵ to their tenth straight win. Kucharz has three assists this season including two in Mercer's 4-0 win at Lackawanna last week.
Coach Ron Stinson calls Kucharz "a fantastic leader, who brings a lot of energy and motivates the team. She makes so many runs from defense every game and creates odd man matchups for us. She sets the tone in a lot of really tough situations and never wants to come out of the game, regardless of if she’s playing hurt or not."
